Ministry of Sound was one company NGON loved working with. Growing up in the club era of the 90’s, MoS had been at the heart of many rough Sunday mornings.
The hit tune by Fat Boy Slim lends its name to one of Ministry’s biggest selling albums on iTunes, accomplishing number one in the album charts. Not to mention the cover was personally liked by Norman, himself.
Ministry of Sound
It began as an idea of Justin Berkmann. Inspired by New York’s Paradise Garage – which he described as “an amazing club. It had lights, darkness, music, quiet – everything you wanted”. Berkmann set out to create London’s first club devoted to American house music inspired by clubs in New York (Centred around Club Zanzibar), Chicago and Detroit in the 1980’s. Opposed to striking a balance between the typical hallmarks of a live music venue, Ministry of Sound was conceived as an arena purely dedicated to sound. Berkmann stated: “My concept for Ministry was purely this: 100% sound system first, lights second, design third (in that order); the reverse of everyone else’s idea.
