There’s a big love for Japanese animation. Some of the most detailed, imaginative work has poured out of Japan and one studio that stands above the rest for its warmth and compassion is the world renown, Studio Ghibli.
With the release of the studios first CG animated film, ‘Earwig and the Witch’, NGON wanted to consider the possiblities of recreating some of their most cherished family movies that so many generations had fallen in love with.
NGON wanted to create these remakes with not only scenes taken from the films to pay tribute, but also wanted to have an amount of storytelling. See if you can spot some of the easter eggs.

A Japanese animation film studio headquartered in Koganei, Tokyo. The studio is best known for its animated feature films, and has also produced several short films, television commercials, and one television film. The studio was founded on June 15, 1985 by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata and producer Toshio Suzuki, after the success of Topcraft’s anime film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984).
